What Is a Line Breaks Adder?

This online tool allows you to add line breaks to your text easily. You can use it to add line breaks to your text, or to add line breaks to a list of items. The tool provides several options to customize how the line breaks are added. One option is called "Mode." This lets you choose how to add line breaks to the text. For example, if you set the mode to "Occurrence," every occurrence of the specified text will be followed by a line break. If you set the mode to "Position," line breaks will be added at the specified position in the text. If you set the mode to "Add Line," a new line will be added at the specified position in the text.

Increase Distance between Paragraphs

In this example, we increase the spacing between paragraphs in the text by adding one extra line break after each paragraph.

Cheetahs are incredible sprinters.
They are known as the fastest land animals
on Earth, capable of reaching speeds up to
70 miles per hour.

Their distinctive spotted coats
are not just for show; they provide
excellent camouflage in the grasslands
where they hunt.

Cheetahs primarily feed on small
to medium-sized ungulates, like gazelles
and impalas.

Set a Fixed Number of Newlines Between Lines

In this example, we had a list of the top 5 best NBA players of all time to add line breaks between the list items. As each item is on its own line, we added the line break mode that works on individual text lines and set the fixed number of newlines to 2.

Michael Jordan,
LeBron James,
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,
Magic Johnson,
Kobe Bryant.

Insert Newlines between Sentences

This example adds line breaks between individual sentences in the text. The program automatically identifies sentences and inserts a constant amount of newlines between them (in this case it's three newlines).
